This is quite a find! One of my favourite suppliers spotted the little "Harrods" imprint on the back leg of this gem and has rescued and restored it beautifully.
This gorgeous long narrow console table probably dates from the mid 19th Century when Harrods was first established in London. We think it must have been a shop fitting as it's not quite posh enough to be something Harrods would sell! But I love it all the more for its classic rustic charm and I think it would look amazing today as a hallway console or behind a sofa as a table to put all your bits and pieces.
One of the shallow drawers has a divider half way along it as shown in the photos.
